Arte Printing and Copy Basics of Apparel Printing

Thanks to Arte Printing and Copy for a brief, informative article on the differences between screen printing and direct to garment. They referenced the old SPRINT demo from our YouTube page as the example of a speedy dtg print.

What they didn’t show was the mPower mP10 demo from the same YouTube site, where we jam out a white shirt print in sixteen seconds. There are also some technical updates, for example the fact that there are now pretreatment solutions that enable you to print on most fabrics including synthetics and blends.

Another publication, Printwear, just put out this Q&A today on banding. What it illustrates is that banding is a universal issue for all types of digital output including transfer – and the fix is often universal as well – run a small amount of ink periodically. Jimmy Lamb has presented on panels with AnaJet speakers in the past and we really appreciate his expertise.
